The Meaning Behind Danu

Danu is often described as an ancestral Mother Goddess in Irish mythology—a symbol of nurturing, abundance, wisdom, and the life-sustaining qualities of nature.

To me, she represents Mother Nature and the motherly energy I’ve always felt drawn to. People often describe me as motherly, and choosing the name Danu simply felt right.

That nurturing spirit is at the heart of Danu Energy Healing: sharing practices, resources, and encouragement to help us care for ourselves and one another in everyday life.

My work with Pranic Healing has given me practical tools that have supported both me and my family in our everyday lives. I created this space to share those tools with you.

Meet Jenn Hales, a devoted student of energy healing for nearly 30 years, immersing herself in various modalities such as Radiant Heart, Reiki, Bioenergy Balancing Work, and, most prominently, Pranic Healing since 2008.

  • Jenn is the real deal! I was traveling out of state for training and developed an embarrassing sty on my right eyelid the very first day. The last time I woke up with a sty, it took a week and a trip to the doctor for antibiotics to heal. It was also very painful! Later that day after training, I had set up a healing session with Jenn to get some relief from a chronic shoulder injury. She noticed my painful eye and asked if she could work on it too. Of course I agreed. I knew Jenn was an experienced energy worker and healer and had no doubt she would be able to help my arm feel better and help me get some much needed rest. The sty healing on the other hand was like Christmas morning! It was completely gone when I woke up. Not only was it gone, but my entire right eye looked and felt great! I had to take pictures of it just so I could blow it up and see how great my eye looked. The differences between my left eye and my healed clear right eye were amazing!
